WindHPC at ISC 2023
The WindHPC project participated in ISC High Performance 2023, Europe’s largest convention for the high-performance computing (HPC) community. The project was presented during the project presentation poster session by Christoph Niethammer. The poster drew attention from various national and international researchers and showed potential for collaborations in the future.
In addition to the project presentation, there were several Booth sessions around the topic of power consumption and performance that showed the importance of the energy saving topic as well as the need for closer integration of HPC systems with energy providers also outside of Europe.
In conclusion, the conference was a success and WindHPC got not only a good amount of publicity, but was also confirmed to address perfectly todays needs in the HPC landscape.
